Corrections, comments, and questions sent to the email address at the bottom of the page are very welcome. Sophie Florentina Reineking brings a new Reineking connection to this family history. I have no evidence which connects her directly with the other Reineking families that derived from Johann Frederick Wilhelm Böger (Reineking) on the web site. Both references 10 and 11 have information about her. Sophie Florentina was born on October 2 1840 in either Ludenhausen or the "outskirts of Langenholzhausen" Lippe-Detmold depending on the data source. Sophie Florentina's parents were Friederick Wilhelm Schnormeier and Marie Sophie Catherine Reineking. Sophie Florentina was the sole surviving child from her parents as three other children died shortly after birth. Two of the three children were twins, and Sophie Florentina's mother died a week after the twins died. It is not known when or how Sophie Florentina Reineking came to the Town of Herman Wisconsin. However in the Town of Herman, she married Carl Friederich Arnhoelter on November 20 1861 at Immanuel Church. The children of Sophie Florentina and Carl Friederich are listed under Carl Friederich Arnhoelter Sr. ___________________________________________ More information Marie Sophie Catherine Reineking.............. Marie Sophie Catherine was born July 16 1816. She died September 21 1843, one week after her twins died during childbirth.
